Farm to Table is a 501c3 tax-exempt non-profit organization based in Santa Fe, New Mexico that works throughout the state, the region and the nation to improve communities’ access to nutritious, affordable, locally grown, culturally significant foods by linking local food production to local needs. Our mission is to build a local, healthy, equitable and sustainable food system through education and advocacy.
Farm to Table’s Core Values reflect that we firmly believe that access to food is a basic human right. We also affirm that access to regionally grown healthy and culturally relevant food is paramount to the health and economic wellbeing and sustainability of communities. As such, our work is centered on investing in New Mexico’s communities, farmers, children, and the environment.
Equity, diversity and inclusion are at the heart of what we strive for. A just, equitable, and sustainable food system is one that provides physical, economic and community health; regenerates, protects, and respects natural resources and animals; and ensures that all people live with dignity and freedom from oppression and exploitation.
